Murrell Park, situated on the north shore of Lake Grapevine in Flower Mound, Texas, is a well-maintained recreational area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The park offers free day-use access and features amenities such as picnic areas, restrooms, a two-lane boat ramp, and access to the Northshore Trail—a renowned 22.5-mile hiking and biking path that meanders along the lake’s shoreline, offering scenic views and varying terrain suitable for different skill levels. For overnight stays, Murrell Park offers campsites with covered picnic tables, available by reservation.

The East side of this trail is known for its smooth flowing trails and excellent scenery as you run along the wooded northern shore of Grapevine Lake.
